3D Rendering Designer (Contract Position)

Caroline Klein Design is seeking a talented Rendering Designer to join the team on a contract basis (1099). This is a remote position for a creative, detail-oriented candidate who loves bringing interior concepts to life through beautiful, realistic visualizations.

Realistic renderings play a key role in our design process because they help clients truly see the vision come together and get excited about what’s possible in their own homes.

Create accurate 2D floor plans and realistic 3D renderings for virtual design projects
Translate provided design concepts, specs, and selections into polished visual presentations
Collaborate directly with Caroline
Ensure deliverables meet aesthetic and functional goals for each project
Handle revisions as needed to refine the final design presentation
Maintain timely turnaround (typically 1 week per project) while upholding high quality

Responsibilities

Experience creating detailed floor plans and realistic 3D renderings
Familiarity with Homestyler preferred (or willingness to learn); open to other software if results meet brand standards
Strong sense of composition, lighting, scale, and realism in renderings
Keen attention to detail and ability to interpret design direction accurately
Excellent communication and time management skills
Passion for creating beautiful, family-friendly homes that balance aesthetics and practicality
